David Phifer is the founder and CEO of ACCU, Inc. Mr. Phifer is a licensed real estate broker in Colorado and has also received the designation of Certified Apartment Property Supervisor from the National Apartment Management Accreditation Board and Certified Manager of Community Association through Community Association Institute. Additionally, Mr. Phifer is the past President of the Apartment Association of Metro Denver, past President of the National Apartment Association, and former two term mayor of Greenwood Village, Colorado.
Prior to founding ACCU, Inc., Mr. Phifer had fifteen years experience in Property Management of multifamily housing. He began his career in Property Management as a Residential Manager in 1964 to supplement his income while attending the University of Minnesota. In 1970, Mr. Phifer was hired by Godwin Bevers Development Corporation in Colorado Springs, Colorado; here Mr. Phifer was in charge of the company’s Multi-Family Housing Divisions. In 1974, Van Shaack and Company employed Mr. Phifer to work in the company’s Property Management Division.
In June of 1979, Mr. Phifer founded ACCU, Inc. because he recognized a need in Denver for a multifamily housing management company which captured the expertise of Denver’s most prominent Community Managers and Support Staff.
